Allur composite decking in a combination of elegant Chocolate and golden Caramel, was chosen by John Drummond, a homeowner in Glenrothes, Fife to replace an existing decked area made from traditional timber decking. Allur was selected due to its ability to offer a long-lasting and low maintenance decking solution, the user-friendly fixing system as well as the creative scope offered by the wide choice of finishes.
A two-level decking area was installed with the darker Chocolate boards the main feature framed by the contrasting Caramel border to add design interest. Designed to accommodate a hot tub and several planters, recessed LED lighting has been installed around the edging on both levels to ensure the area is illuminated and can be enjoyed when the sun goes down. Allur boards were also used to create a step up to the decking area from the garden.
